Senior Business Analyst - E&S

Job Summary

To support complex insurance transformations in the non-admitted market, the full-time Senior Business Analyst - E&S will manage requirements gathering for specialty lines, ensuring regulatory compliance and product configuration while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit and document requirements for specialty lines and E&S products, including complex risk scenarios
• Ensure adherence to state-level E&S regulations and collaborate with compliance stakeholders to embed regulatory rules into system design
• Engage with underwriters and brokers to capture detailed requirements and facilitate workshops for alignment on business needs

Required qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance domain, specifically in the E&S market
• Proven experience delivering across the full SDLC lifecycle, including requirements gathering and testing support
• Hands-on experience with specialty product lines such as Professional Liability, Cyber, and Umbrella/Excess Liability
• In-depth understanding of underwriting processes, rating methodologies, and policy lifecycle
• Experience defining UAT scenarios specific to E&S workflows
