Senior Business Analyst - Health Insurance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Business Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and documentation of current and future state workflows to optimize operational functionality
• Facilitate project requirements gathering and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop use cases, test scenarios, and document Desk Level Procedures (DLPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Required Qualifications

• Solid understanding of health plan operations, including claims, billing, and clinical operations
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Expert skills in MS Office Suite, Visio, MS Project, and SharePoint
• Experience with Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Self-Funded lines of business
• Knowledge of health plan software systems such as Facets and Epic Tapestry

Education and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in the health insurance industry
• Associates' or Bachelor's Degree in Information Management or equivalent experience
