Senior Business Analyst (Insurance)
Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time Senior Business Analyst (Insurance) will analyze actuarial reports, guide developers in report replacement, and perform quality assurance testing, with the option to work remotely or from Jersey City, NJ.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze existing actuarial reports and instruct developers on report replacement within the Segment Data Warehouse
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure new reports meet requirements and assist with troubleshooting through data analysis
- Coordinate and own User Testing and Signoff, managing acceptance testing processes
Required qualifications
- Prior knowledge and experience in reinsurance and actuarial/reserving reporting processes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field
- Experience with SQL and Excel for data analysis
- Ability to develop requirements documentation and acceptance criteria
- Strong understanding of data validation and reporting methodologies
