Senior Business Analyst - Medicaid

Job Summary

To support the DC Medicaid program, the full-time remote Senior Business Analyst - Medicaid will lead complex claims and financial processing activities, transforming data into actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a lead analyst for multi-system claims and financial processing activities
• Evaluate data and confirm system performance while identifying processing issues
• Analyze contact center workflows and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare Industry; 3+ years of Medicaid or Medicare experience preferred
• Understanding of computer programming concepts, including configuration and batch processing
• Advanced proficiency with analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL
• Strong client-facing communication skills to translate client needs into actionable objectives
• Ability to effectively communicate with business leaders, clients, and technical teams
