Senior Business Analyst - Medicaid
Job Summary
To support Medicaid program initiatives, the fully remote Senior or Advisor Business Analyst - Provider+ will act as a domain subject matter expert, translating state and federal Medicaid policy into actionable product features and system configurations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary domain subject matter expert, guiding business processes and regulatory impacts
- Lead requirements and design sessions, ensuring alignment with CMS guidance and state policy
- Support operational readiness by contributing domain expertise to testing and deployment activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience supporting healthcare system implementations, including MMIS solutions and Medicaid Pharmacy platforms
- Strong knowledge of state and federal Medicaid policy, regulations, and program rules
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience with QNXT or similar healthcare claims/encounter management systems
