Senior Business Analyst, P&C Insurance

Job Summary

To support the Surplus & Specialty Lines Digital Services team, the full-time remote Senior Business Analyst, P&C Insurance will participate in the planning, design, and implementation of business systems, focusing on underwriting, claims, and billing processes while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify goals, system requirements, and existing issues while participating in roadmap planning
• Lead design sessions and facilitate the development of new applications and enhancements to existing systems
• Coordinate testing and provide documentation and training for modified and new systems to end users

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Experience in P&C Insurance, with a strong preference for knowledge of Non-Admitted insurance lines
• Proven track record in overseeing software design, development, and implementation for underwriting, financial, or claims systems
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in user-friendly language
