Senior Business Application Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing Post-Sales Systems team, the full-time remote Senior Business Application Engineer will design, develop, and scale AI-powered agents and automation tooling for customer support environments, enhancing workflows and reducing agent workload.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale AI agents to automate support workflows and improve efficiency
- Own and evolve custom automation tooling to reduce manual effort and enhance resolution quality
- Collaborate with Support leadership to translate operational workflow gaps into production-grade AI capabilities
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience building and shipping AI-powered agents or automation tooling in production environments
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for backend and automation development
- Experience integrating with customer support platforms like Zendesk via APIs
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks or building custom LLM-based systems
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
