Senior Business Data Analyst

Job Summary

Leading client engagements in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Senior Business Data Analyst will translate complex business questions into structured analytical solutions, utilizing deep SQL skills and AI tools to enhance decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client-facing discovery sessions to document and prioritize business requirements
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical work, including data models and dashboards
• Apply AI tooling to enhance deliverables and drive proactive analysis of trends and opportunities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or analytics consultant, with at least 2 years in a client-facing role
• Expertise in SQL, including window functions and performance tuning
• Strong data modeling fundamentals and hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses and BI tools
• Demonstrated ability to lead client conversations and align stakeholders
• Working fluency with AI tools for analytical work and a clear understanding of their benefits and risks
