Senior Business Development Associate

Job Summary

A nonprofit research and development firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct strategic research to inform division growth strategy
• Manage specific new business opportunities, including capture planning and proposal management
• Support proposal development, including writing, budgeting, and quality control

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4-7 years of business development experience, with a focus on managing large proposals for US Government agencies
• Understanding of government agencies and funding instruments
• Familiarity with funding research tools and CRM systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
