Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join a freight brokerage organization in a fully remote capacity, responsible for driving strategic business growth initiatives, nurturing key shipper and carrier relationships, and expanding revenue through innovative sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new shipper and carrier opportunities while developing a robust pipeline of qualified freight prospects
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key shippers, carriers, and logistics partners to drive mutual growth and load volume
- Analyze freight market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations and pricing positioning
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in business development, sales, or account management within a B2B environment
- Proven track record of successfully building and growing a book of business from prospecting through closure
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
