Job Summary
Seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager in a full-time remote capacity, who will take ownership of strategic business growth initiatives, develop key shipper and carrier relationships, and drive revenue expansion through innovative sales strategies in the transportation and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close new shipper and carrier opportunities while developing a robust pipeline of qualified freight prospects
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key shippers, carriers, and logistics partners to drive mutual growth and load volume
- Develop and execute customized freight brokerage strategies tailored to market opportunities, carrier capacity, and organizational goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in business development, sales, or account management within a B2B environment
- Proven track record of successfully building and growing a book of business from prospecting through closure
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client and partner relationships across diverse industries
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while driving measurable results
