Senior Business Insights Analyst

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time Senior Business Insights Analyst will manage KPI reporting, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders in a remote or San Francisco-based role.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve core business scorecards and dashboards to monitor subscriber growth and revenue trends
• Translate ambiguous stakeholder questions into structured analytical plans and actionable recommendations
• Build expertise in billing and subscription analytics, focusing on metrics such as churn, renewals, and conversion rates

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business insights, analytics, or a related field
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale data sets
• Strong experience in building data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools like Tableau or Looker
• Proven ability to translate vague business questions into clear analyses and decision-ready narratives
• Excellent spreadsheet skills in Excel or Google Sheets
