Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

To support strategic decision-making, the full-time Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will analyze financial and operational data, run reports, and present findings to senior leadership in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Identify emerging trends in financial and operational data to provide actionable recommendations for senior leadership
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and distribution teams to diagnose operational issues and influence business strategy through data-driven insights
• Analyze premium trends across various channels to inform distribution strategy and serve as a central business partner to pricing and marketing leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of analysis experience within a P&C insurance carrier, MGA, or insurance-focused public accounting/consulting firm
• Fluency in P&C insurance financial and operational KPIs
• Strong Excel modeling skills and demonstrated experience building management reports and dashboards from raw data
• Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases and building datasets for analysis
