Senior Business Intelligence Developer
Job Summary
To support the migration of its data platform, the full-time Senior Business Intelligence Developer will reverse-engineer legacy SQL Server logic and build modern data marts in Snowflake, ensuring business logic is preserved and improved while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain governed data marts in Snowflake for business reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Sigma for decision-making insights
- Reverse-engineer legacy SQL Server logic and translate it into Snowflake models during the migration
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated senior-level experience as a BI Developer or Analytics Engineer, delivering production data marts and reporting
- Strong SQL expertise, including the ability to read and refactor complex legacy SQL Server code
- Hands-on experience building data models and marts in Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
- Proficiency in building dashboards and reports in Sigma or a similar modern BI tool
- Solid grounding in dimensional/data modeling and semantic-layer design
