Senior Business Process Analyst

Job Summary

Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Business Process Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to document and manage requirements using Agile methodologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and document business, functional, and technical requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
• Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and specifications
• Lead and mentor junior analysts while ensuring successful completion of Agile Sprints

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
• 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
• Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
• Desired experience in a Federal Health Agency and knowledge of VA's Veterans Independence Program (VIP)
