Senior Business Process Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Business Process Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development teams while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
• Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and user story elaboration
• Coordinate with Systems Engineers and manage requirements across multiple projects while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
• 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies, with an additional 10 years of experience substitutable for education
• Expertise in using JIRA tools for requirements management and Agile project execution
• Strong background in large Agile software development or data integration projects
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
