Senior Business Process Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Business Process Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage Agile requirement activities in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements for software development teams using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
• Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and user story elaboration
• Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment on project requirements

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
• 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
• Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
• Strong background in conducting user interviews and developing business process models
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
