Senior Business Process Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior Business Process Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements, manage Agile requirement activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful software development outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
• Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and user story elaboration
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of requirements and project goals

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
• 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
• Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
• Strong background in conducting user interviews and developing business process models
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
