Senior Business Process Analyst

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Business Process Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development teams, collaborating with stakeholders and utilizing Agile methodologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
• Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and user story elaboration
• Facilitate communication between business users, IT, and leadership to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
• 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
• Expertise with JIRA tools for requirements management and tracking
• Strong background in large Agile software development or data integration projects
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
