Senior Business Product Owner

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end product strategy, the full-time Senior Business Product Owner will analyze business objectives, define product requirements, and drive automation initiatives for UM intake processes in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyze business system issues to develop process improvement recommendations
• Lead meetings to identify project issues and communicate product objectives to stakeholders
• Build and prioritize a backlog of product features in collaboration with technical teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent work experience
• Experience with UM intake or prior authorization workflows
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and integrations (e.g., FHIR, HL7, APIs)
• Knowledge of automation tools supporting UM processes, such as AI tools and rules engines
