Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Owning the systems and data aspects of the vendor quote tool, the remote Senior Business Systems Analyst will manage cross-functional alignment between procurement, finance, sales operations, and engineering while mapping workflows, defining requirements, and ensuring data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of alignment between procurement, finance, sales operations, and engineering to represent each group's needs in the tool's development
• Map current-state vendor quoting workflows and identify process breakdowns or risks between teams
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for engineering, ensuring clarity for non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a business systems analyst or similar role supporting procurement, finance, or quoting systems
• Demonstrated experience owning a data model or schema for a business system, including versioning and status tracking
• Working proficiency in SQL, capable of writing queries independently
• Experience defining or maintaining approval workflows with conditional logic
• Proven track record of partnering with multiple stakeholder groups and reaching workable agreements
