Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Buyer will manage the procurement process for goods and services, negotiate with suppliers, and drive cost reduction initiatives while collaborating with various internal departments.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees the purchase order process to ensure timely delivery and payment of products
- Analyzes spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities and manage supplier performance
- Negotiates contracts and improves pricing and terms with suppliers to drive value improvements
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive purchasing experience in a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret metrics and financial information
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Oracle/SAP or similar ERP systems
- Solar and/or Solar Racking experience is highly preferred
