Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Buyer to manage purchasing and supplier relationships for various commodities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulates and executes purchasing strategies, negotiates pricing, and ensures timely supply availability
  • Conducts market research to identify suppliers and evaluates their effectiveness in meeting procurement needs
  • Collaborates with various departments on new projects to determine material requirements and minimize costs
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • CPM or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of four years of experience in procurement and supply chain within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with computers, including MS Office and MRP systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
