Senior Buyer

Job Summary

Working remotely within the Eastern Time Zone, the contract Senior Buyer will manage the procurement of equipment, materials, and services, ensuring competitive pricing and quality while collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Procure critical materials and services by identifying and evaluating qualified suppliers
• Review and verify purchase order requests for accuracy and business application
• Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and manage supplier relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline preferred
• 4+ years of relevant buying/procurement experience
• Experience with SAP and Jaggaer required/preferred
• Strong experience with supplier management and vendor negotiations
• Purchasing certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
