Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, develop back-end applications using C#, and ensure software quality while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration
• Develop back-end applications using .Net framework and MVC architecture, ensuring performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement Agile practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least five years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as unit testing frameworks like NUnit
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
