Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of back-end applications using C#, while working remotely and ensuring application performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Utilize full-stack development expertise to build and deploy .Net applications, ensuring quality and responsiveness
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and promote good software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with strong knowledge of C#
• Proficiency in developing applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and database design
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
