Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development using .Net technologies in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning for software systems
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile methodologies and promote best software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
• Proficiency in database design and development with SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure
