Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of back-end applications using C#, while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning for software systems
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using .Net technologies and ensure application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement Agile practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline, with five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in developing applications using MVC architecture and experience with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, as well as CI/CD practices
• Experience with version control systems like GIT and knowledge of unit testing frameworks
