Senior C# .Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of back-end applications using C#, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems and subsystems
• Utilize full-stack development expertise to create and maintain .Net back-end applications, ensuring performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and promote good software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong proficiency in C#
• Experience in developing applications using Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in database design and development with SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
