Senior C# .Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development using .Net technologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop and maintain back-end applications utilizing C# and .Net Core within an Agile framework
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure software quality and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in software development
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong proficiency in C# and MVC architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework for database design and development
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as version control systems like GIT
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in mentoring junior developers
