Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support while utilizing full-stack expertise in .Net and C#.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop back-end applications using .Net Core and C#, ensuring application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement Agile practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with at least five years of experience in software development
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong proficiency in C# and MVC architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework for database design and development
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as version control systems like GIT
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit
