Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software system integration, and development using .Net technologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration while providing technical support
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring performance and quality through testing and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members, documenting software designs and promoting good software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field with at least five years of experience in .Net development
• Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and MVC architecture for back-end application development
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as version control systems like GIT
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
