Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and provide development support while utilizing full-stack development expertise in .Net and C#.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical planning and detailed requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using .Net Core and C#, ensuring application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement long-term solutions within an Agile framework

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in software development
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and database design using SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, and experience with CI/CD practices
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and strong understanding of security best practices for web applications
