Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support for applications, while working remotely and utilizing full-stack development expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and document software designs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, with at least five years of experience in software development
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and MVC architecture
• Proficiency in database design and development, particularly with SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as unit testing frameworks like NUnit
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
