Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software system integration, and development of back-end applications using C# and .Net technologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
• Develop back-end applications utilizing .Net framework and MVC architecture, ensuring performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and promote good software engineering standards

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Expertise in C#, .Net framework, and back-end development with RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
