Senior C#/.Net Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Developer will perform technical planning, software system integration, and back-end application development using C# and .Net technologies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and define high-level and detailed requirements for software systems
• Develop back-end applications utilizing .Net Core and MVC architecture while ensuring application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and promote good software engineering standards

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Proficiency in C#, .Net framework, and back-end application development
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful APIs and database development using SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
