Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support while working remotely and ensuring application performance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning for software systems
• Utilize full-stack development skills to create and maintain .Net back-end applications and ensure quality through testing and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement best engineering practices

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Proficiency in C#, .Net framework, and .Net Core, with experience in MVC architecture
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
