Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, develop back-end applications using C#, and ensure software system quality and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and software systems integration
• Develop and maintain back-end applications using .Net framework and C# within an Agile environment
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with a strong understanding of C#
• Proficiency in developing applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with database design and SQL Server, as well as version control systems like GIT
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least five years of relevant experience
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
