Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and collaborate with development teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and detailed requirements definition for software systems
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net frameworks, ensuring performance and quality
• Participate actively in Agile development processes and daily stand-ups with the software team

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with a strong understanding of C#
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
