Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development of back-end applications using C#, ensuring application performance and quality in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution for software systems
• Utilize full-stack development skills to create and maintain .Net back-end applications, ensuring high performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement Agile practices and promote good software engineering methodologies

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core with strong C# skills
• Proficiency in developing applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with five or more years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
