Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning for software systems
• Utilize full-stack development skills to create and maintain .Net applications, ensuring performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement Agile best practices

Required qualifications

• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C#
• Proficiency in developing back-end applications using MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with database design and SQL Server, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure
• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
