Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and development support, utilizing expertise in .Net and C# within an Agile framework.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition for software systems, including test planning and execution
• Develop back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring application performance and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to document software designs and implement best practices in software engineering

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with relevant experience
• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Expertise in .Net framework and .Net Core, with strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Proficiency in database design and development, including SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as Agile development methodologies
