Senior C#/.Net Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior C#/.Net Engineer will perform technical planning, develop back-end applications using C#, and ensure software quality in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical planning and requirements definition for software systems, including testing and integration
• Utilize full-stack development skills to design, develop, and maintain .Net applications while participating in Agile team activities
• Document software designs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in software development using .Net technologies
• Proficiency in C#, .Net framework, and .Net Core, with experience in MVC architecture
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, database design with SQL Server, and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
