Job Summary

Seeking a remote full-time Senior C++ Software Engineer, the candidate will develop and optimize query engine components, profile and debug distributed systems, and contribute to the design of high-performance data processing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize query engine components in C++, focusing on execution performance and reliability
• Profile and debug distributed systems using low-level tooling such as flame graphs and perf
• Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks across query execution pipelines

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT roles
• 4+ years of experience with C++ as a primary programming language
• Experience with query engine or database internals
• Background in distributed systems design and development
• Hands-on experience with performance profiling tools such as flame graphs or perf
