Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for maintaining and modernizing high-throughput payment processing systems, driving platform migration, and developing robust payment integrations with third-party gateways.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and strategically modernize payment processing systems handling real-time financial transactions
• Drive platform migration efforts, including transitioning a core C++ authorization gateway from Windows to Linux
• Develop and implement security-critical features and optimize transaction processing pipelines

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional C++ development experience in production environments
• Strong understanding of systems programming, including memory management and performance optimization
• Experience with legacy codebases and a commitment to incremental modernization
• Proficiency in payment processing systems and knowledge of PCI-DSS compliance
• Familiarity with gRPC and experience in platform migrations (e.g., Windows to Linux)
