Senior CAD Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior CAD Designer responsible for designing power system projects using CAD techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complex layouts, electrical schematics, and drawings using AutoCAD based on specifications and customer requirements
• Compile project data and maintain communication with project and engineering teams regarding design progress and modifications
• Guide and train less experienced designers while contributing to process improvements and CAD standards

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in Mechanical Design and Technology, Engineering Graphics Technology, or related field from an accredited institution
• 5-7 years of experience with electrical or mechanical CAD systems in power systems design
• Candidates must be located within 60 miles of Raleigh, NC
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required; no immigration sponsorship available
• Experience with 3D CAD design and architectural or mechanical design is preferred
