Senior CAD Designer

Job Summary

To support a leading aerospace client, the contract Senior CAD Designer will develop, modify, and release CN-controlled engineering designs, models, and drawings for umbilical systems and ground support equipment while working onsite in Kent, WA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and release designs, models, and drawings for umbilical assemblies and related systems
• Define and document interfaces between vehicles, payloads, and ground support equipment
• Perform model checks and design reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) with experience in complex models and assemblies
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
• Experience producing manufacturing and assembly drawings for aerospace or high-precision industries
• Familiarity with configuration management and engineering change (CN) release processes
• Experience with Windchill or similar product lifecycle management tools
