Senior CAD Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. CAD Technician to create detailed construction plans using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine detailed drawings from surveys, GIS, and field notes
• Prepare complete drawing packages for client submittals while ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to innovative solutions to deliver projects on time and within budget

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Design and Drafting Technology, CAD Certification, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of experience in the design and drafting field, with some knowledge of the Utilities industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD, including X-Refs, Sheet Set Manager, and understanding of coordinate systems
• Basic knowledge of advanced CAD software, such as Civil3D, is preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate, high-quality drawings
