Senior Calculation Platform Developer
Job Summary
Supporting technical discovery and modernization planning, the full-time Senior Calculation Platform Modernization Developer-Architect will analyze and enhance an enterprise calculation platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze the technical architecture of the existing calculation platform and reverse engineer organization-specific customizations
- Perform discovery with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and assess upgrade paths for calculation capabilities
- Document current-state architecture, identify modernization opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations for future-state services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering, architecture, or legacy-system modernization
- Experience with product calculation engines and rules engines
- Strong understanding of APIs and enterprise integration patterns
- Ability to translate technical findings into executive-ready recommendations
