Senior Camera Module Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with a global engineering team, the fully remote Senior Camera Module Engineer will drive camera subsystem strategy by defining specifications, selecting components, and guiding validation and production processes while managing technical relationships with regional partners in Taipei and China.

Key responsibilities

• Collaboratively define camera specifications and select components alongside the project team in Oslo
• Oversee design verification plans, reliability testing, and root-cause failure analysis with suppliers
• Guide camera modules from prototype to mass production, partnering with suppliers on calibration and yield improvement

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing camera modules from concept through mass production
• Deep technical knowledge of image sensors, optics, and design verification planning
• Proven track record in debugging image quality issues and performing root-cause failure analysis
• Fluency in English for cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Photonics, or equivalent experience
